Natural
process
After
the white mushrooms have been washed, we take (whole or sliced), cook,
pickle (with water, salt, and citric acid), and vacuum pack the mushrooms.
This gives the mushrooms a longer shelf life. After this process is
complete, the product is ready for consumption.
In many recipes,
the liquid or pickle in which the white mushrooms are packed can replace
part of the water that the recipe requires, but normally this liquid
is not consumed. It depends on the consumer's tastes.
The whole mushroom is frequently used to complement main dishes especially
for recipes that require mushrooms. Often, though, the jarred white
mushrooms are used because their slices are thicker than conventional
ones. Moreover, the sliced white mushrooms are frequently used in different
recipes because, when already sliced, thethe consumer saves a lot of
prep time.
